DIY Ideas: How to Make Marbled Mugs

We are really excited to share this marvellous DIY project, you can gift it to your mother on this Mother’s day. When we went through different sites to gather some unique DIY projects we found out this amazing Marbled Mug idea. You can make it with nail paints, oil paints or water colours. Method is easy and unique. The best part of this DIY project is, it will complete in less time as well as pocket friendly.
For making these marbled mugs we need:
Mugs.
Toothpicks.
Nail paint/ water colours/ oil paints.
Small plastic container (make sure it has enough space so mug will easily dip in it).

Working:
Fill the container with hot water. For better results hot water is must otherwise colours will get dry soon in water and you will not get the desired result.
When you start dropping the colours over water keep the bottle nearer to the water surface, so the colour will not sink in water for marbled effect we need the colours to stay top of the water surface. If you drop the colours on higher distance they will sink in water.
After dropping colours use the toothpick quickly to swirl the colours.
Then dip your mug in water, when you make this project remember that you need to work so quickly otherwise colours will not leave better effects.
After dipping in water, place the mug on paper towel and let it dry.
